Whether you are going to the coast for the weekend or a day's sailing at your local boating lake, knowing the relevant towing law and feeling confident in manouvering your boat trailer will take the stress out of the journey. 

Towing a boat has its own particular requirements! It is important to be aware of certain legalities that are only applicable to boat towing. For example, most American boats imported into the UK come with a free trailer which seems like a bonus at first. However, for a number of reasons, they are illegal to use in the UK. 

Boats have propellers that stick out beyond the trailer and masts that need extra attention when navigating low bridges, trees or even the roof of the towing vehicle on sharp inclines.

Our job is to make you aware of these issues and ensure you leave you training feeling confident, competent and ready to take your boat to whatever waters you want to sail.
