Central Scotland Sea School

CENTRAL SCOTLAND SEA SCHOOL has been training yachtsmen and yachtswomen since 1994. Based at Rhu Marina on the wonderful West Coast of Scotland we offer our students a friendly and relaxing course in some of the most beautiful and majestic scenery in the world. All practical courses, except Start Yachting (2 days) are conducted over 5 days onboard one of our Sail Training Vessels. All our Sail Training Vessels are renowned for their safe & sturdy construction and excellent sea-keeping and sailing performance. Central Scotland Sea School is the Training Centre for the Central Scotland Royal Naval Auxiliary Service Association and was established in 1994 and registered as a charity in the same year. We provide Sail Training voyages for all sectors of the community throughout Scotland. Supported by Local Councils, Central Scotland Sea School is registered as an Approved Outdoor Education Provider, Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Expedition Award and is a Recognised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre for all Sail Cruising courses.  At our RYA Training Centre at Rhu Marina we conduct all RYA Theory & One Day Courses and can offer a selection of On-Line Courses for those who prefer to study at their own pace.
