RYA training courses at Europe’s most southerly sailing school... We are based on Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. Puerto de Mogan, our home base, is a picturesque fishing port, (dubbed ‘Little Venice’) and has a delightful climate of its own - very few rainy days in a year. We have never had to cancel a course as a result of bad weather or no wind. During our courses, we visit other ports around Gran Canaria such as Puerto Rico, Pasito Blanco and Las Palmas and often sail across to Tenerife to visit San Miguel and Las Galletas. In order that you obtain the best value for money, our courses can be tailor made to suit your needs – everyone is welcome – we are also members of the RYA Sailability scheme. Start days are flexible, in order to accommodate flights from all over Europe. We run on a low instructor to student ratio – the minimum being 1:1 Whether it’s a theory class or a practical sailing course, we aim to enable you to learn at your own pace. We want you to have a valuable and useful experience – after all, the purpose of taking a course is to enhance your ability to enjoy sailing with safety and confidence.
