To help celebrate National Watersports Month, The Boating Hub has joined forces with First Class Sailing to give away a pair of tickets for a day’s sailing on the Solent.
The lucky couple will join First Class Sailing on Thursday 29th May and will experience the excitement of working under sail while gaining an insight into the main aspects of yacht sailing: from navigating your course to handling equipment and rigging on deck.
Ideal for those keen to taste the thrill of yachting, the session will take place during half-term, but you must be over 16 to take part, and under 21s must be accompanied by an adult.
As you will see from the itinerary below the yacht will anchor for lunch in Osborne Bay, off the Isle of Wight. All you have to do is send us your answer to the following question using the comment box below:

At 8.30 you’ll arrive at Shamrock Quay in Southampton to meet the instructor for coffee and croissants, where you’ll be given a quick overview of the day’s trip and a thorough safety briefing.
You’ll then cast off from Shamrock Quay and sail down Southampton Water to the Solent.
For lunch, the boat will anchor off Osborne Bay (depending on the weather and local tide), then set off for the return leg to Shamrock Quay to arrive around 5pm.
