Sunday: meet at 1830 settle you onto the boat
Monday: Safety brief and then plan passage and pilotage to Arrecife
Tuesday: Plan passage and pilotage to La Graciosa
Wednesday: Plan passage and pilotage down the west side of Lanzarote to Marina Rubicon
Thursday: Sailing Skills such as sailing up to buoys, Man overboard under Sail etc. and close quarter marina handling.
Friday: Plan passage and pilotage to Puerto Calero Marina arriving back around 1700.
We expect to achieve approximately 150 nautical miles during this week.
A minimum of RYA Day Skipper is advised to make the most from this week. This week has been designed to really put your passage planning and pilotage to good use. With up wind sailing and down wind sailing (if the wind is good you can use the cruising shute), it really emphasises the importance of good sail trim. The last two days we focus on the drills and we base a lot of what we cover here on what you, the crew, would like to practice.
