Women's Sailing Weekend

Ladies, would you like to enhance your sailing skills to become better crew members or even work towards becoming a skipper yourself?  Take the first steps with a three-day weekend of educational and recreational opportunities for you and up to three friends. This course is designed for female sailors of primarily crew-level experience. Having more experience does not exclude you; however, the experience will be geared toward the crew-level participants. The concept is to offer a low-pressure, supportive environment encouraging everyone to try anything and everything to reinforce knowledge and skills. The goal is to have the students leave with more confidence such they are willing, if not eager as well, to take on new tasks and responsibilities.

This course is somewhat equivalent to the ASA 103 Coastal Cruising course; however, this class is not offered through an ASA affiliated sc

Experience Needed to Take this Course

No experience is required but the course can be more effective if participants have some keelboat experience at the ASA 101 and 103 levels.
