All SVYC Courses are Fun and the Instructor Course is no exception, however there is a very strict syllabus to follow and we adhere to this completely. We use the Club's fleet of dinghies to deliver the course these include Optimists, Toppers, RS Teras, Picos, Lasers, RS Fevas, RS Visions and Topper Buzzes. The course runs from both the Clubhouse and the Duver Beach (which is located 250 meters to the West of the Clubhouse)
Competent Dinghy Sailor who has passed an RYA Pre-entry Assessment (available at SVYC), who holds RYA Powerboat Level 2 (available at SVYC), an RYA approved First Aid Certificate (RYA First Aid available at SVYC) and is an RYA Member (SVYC is an RYA Joining point)
