Our ribcraft 6,4 Pro with a 175hp Suzuki has proved to be the ideal choice for our poweroboating adventures around Lisbon. This is a very safe, fast and manouverable RIB, probably one of the best in the market.
You will be briefed by your isntructor on the course programme and objectives. Practical sessions on the water are mixed with some importante theory concepts (collision regulations, navigation, pilotage, buoyage). The course runs from 0930-1800 (2 days for Powerboat Level 2) and, weather permitting, we usually visit either Lisbon or Cascais on a small passage.
Man over board practising, anchoring, picking up mooring buoys, marina boat handling, high speed curves, safety...are all within the programme. Powerboat level 2 takes 2 days and leads to a National Powerboat certificate, often used as a first powerboating license.
