The RYA Powerboat Level 2 is a 2-day course which is the starting place for providing all the skills and background knowledge that you need to go afloat safely. Boat handling and manoeuvres: starting and stopping, use of kill cord, steering controls, securing to a buoy, effects of current or tide and wind, high and low speed manoeuvring, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside and man overboard are all skills that are covered in a safe but fun environment.
