If you have no experience in sailing but want to learn the ropes then this course is just for you. It is a 5 day course that can be taken consecutively or in your spare time and aims to make you a competent crew member. Based on theory and practical sessions you will learn the basics of being a crew member from safety, nautical terminology, rope work, docking, dinghy training, sailing vessel handling skills and man overboard.
The course takes place in the beautiful waters of St Lucia in small groups so everyone has the opportunity to participate in all the skills. The course includes a logbook and worldwide recognised certificate from IYT.
