The Day Skipper motor training course is a superb introduction to being the skipper of a motor cruiser, in fair weather and daylight hours, and where better to train than in Mallorca? Based in the fabulous Palma harbour, with the stunning cathedral and Bellver castle as a backdrop, learn the tricks of manoeuvring a motor cruiser in close quarters, alongside-to and med-style mooring then off you go, leaving Palma behind you as you head into the bay for navigation exercises, anchoring techniques, and more. This is the training to make you feel comfortable at the helm. The syllabus has been designed by the experts at the RYA to give you confidence and expertise within the limits of the Day Skipper certificate.
Some experience of motor cruising is desirable; the Helmsman's course is a terrific starter package.
